Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I was so impressed by the attention given to our party of 4 with a dog. The weather was cold and rainy and the manager herself set up the heaters and fireplace and tables. She was so caring and attentive. Our server was friendly and warm and caring. Our meals were so good. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the pork chops were delicious. The salads were well prepared. All entrees were presented well and tasted delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant."
"Brunch was really tasty. Avacado toast was delicious. Brisket bowl was huge and filling. Great service. A++"
"Brunch was delicious! I have celiac disease and our server knew exactly what I could have. We subbed cheese grits for the potatoes in my Brisket Bowl. There was enough for me to have leftovers for tomorrow!"
"My husband and I were hotel guests this weekend. We decided to dine at the restaurant, were we not impressed with the Hostesses who were not welcoming. We were told there were reservations and the dining room would be full but were offered to dine on the patio. It was a beautiful evening so we decided that would work. Little did we know we had to order at a window and give them a credit card like we were running a tab. This would have been fine in a bar setting but not at all what we expected for a 160.00 dollar meal. For which after our food was delivered there was no service. Also tried to order two drinks off the drink special list to be told there were out of ingredients for. I will say that the food was exceptionally delicious, so much so we decided to have breakfast the next morning in the dining room of course. Again just not the type of service we expected for such a nice hotel. And we did notice while having our dinner outside that there were many open tables and we had yo exit through the dining room. Again noticing several open tables."
"We came here as a group of eight before a retreat in the mountains. Despite making a reservation, it turns out they were not open for lunch. However, the staff was beyond accommodating and let us order from their bar menu. We ordered the deviled eggs, trout dip, and charcuterie for the table. They were all pretty good but not amazing. I got a burger, which was bland and disappointing. The service was fantastic and I really like this venue. If you are staying at the hotel, I would definitely try them for dinner."
"We LOVED it here. We made reservations to make sure we had a place as this restaurant is not tremendously large. We did the 5:30 seating, so we had plenty of room. We arrived early but were graciously seated and attended to. Our waitstaff was Bella --- and she was fabulous! We started with the Strawberry Brie Toast. Delicious!!! ..and surprisingly large for two. We then shared the Seared Salmon. Again - Delicious AND beautifully presented! Bella was tremendous and gracious to us, and we felt so comfortable and welcome. We HIGHLY recommend taking a meal here."
"A hidden gem! Breakfast was amazing!! GET THE DEVILED EGGS!! We were not staying at the hotel but made reservations for Sunday brunch and loved everything. They even had a live band playing on the patio which was great!"
"We came to the Embers Hotel to stay a few days for my birthday. My husband booked a surprise party in the downstairs restaurant. What an amazing experience!! We also had breakfast each morning and it was equally delicious!! I highly recommend the oyster, filet, and mushroom pate. But everyone loved everything they ordered. And the birthday cake was to die for!! These are pics of a few meals!"
